NEW HAVEN FIRE DEPARTMENT WARNS AGAINST FRAUDULENT CALLS

(7/31/2008) NEW HAVEN- The New Haven Fire Department received information stating that calls were being received by area residents soliciting financial contributions for the Department. Residents should be aware that no calls of this nature have been authorized by the New Haven Fire Department and no fundraising campaigns are underway at this time. Recipients of these fraudulent calls are encouraged to call their local police department’s non-emergency lines with any information.
